'Less and Less of More and More' is for those who want (or want to want) a little less in a culture of more and more. Many of us live amidst too much—too much food, too much stuff, too many thoughts, too much worry, too many Netflix binges. What would it be like to live in service of less? Just a little less.
I like this shift, Sarah. Sounds lovely and I look forward to following along on your less is more journey. I've been on the path for some time now, and can attest that "the livin' is easy."
After downsizing over a year ago now, I can attest that this is a brilliant idea, and even better in practise! Looking forward to see what you’ve got cooking for this next chapter.
As I move into the final phase of my book launch, while also trying to grow the Substack, while also writing the next novel, while also holding down a full-time job, while also contemplating 50, while also accepting my daughter will soon be off to college, I need less for sure!
I love this, Sarah. So relevant today and resonates as my journey as a patient with a chronic illness and caregiver necessitated embracing less too. I look forward to learning and reading more. Congrats on the new venture.
It's funny... I saw this and IMMEDIATELY wanted to subscribe. But then I paused. Do I need another Substack subscription? Will another subscription help me to simplify or just clutter my mind with more posts to read?
I love what you do, Sarah. I follow all your posts and I've recommended you over and over to my friends. But I'm going to sleep on this before subscribing to make sure that subscribing is not just another symptom of more! more!
Thank you for your thoughtfulness. I'm trying to figure out my next chapter so this is very timely.
What a lovely idea sarah! 🙌🏻💛
Sarah,
This concept is intriguing. I'm looking forward to it very much. The world spins naturally toward complexity.
As an aficionado of puns, I can't decide how to categorize the pun of "Less-in," but 1) I wish i had come up with it and 2) it made me laugh.
Congratulation and well wishes for a new beginning! 🌱
PS: I already would be happy with less choices when ever ordering a coffee 😇
I absolutely love this. Thank you for making me think even more deeply about it.
I’ve been playing around with this idea myself since pandemic. Less things, less clutter, less eating, packing less when on trips.
And really what I’ve found is that less has given me more… more time, more ease, more energy.
Goodness. This is what we need! A guiding hand. I’m already trying to lead a less complicated life. But I need help with the Netflix binges.
Never subscribed to something so quickly. Thank you for this!

Love this idea - looking forward to what you have to share!
This is right up my alley. Can’t wait!
What a pivot! I already love this new chapter of your publication, and I'm 100% on board
I’m in baby! Just bought an annual subscription. This feels like a mega antidote to the more monster!
