Less and Less of More and More!
Now that Cured: The Memoir has serialized, it’s time to welcome a new phase:
Less and Less of More and More is for those who want (or want to want) a little less in a culture of more and more.
Many of us live amidst too much—too many appointments, too much food, too much stuff, too many thoughts, too much worry, too much staring at a computer screen, too many Netflix binges.
What would it be like to live in service of less? Just a little less.
This isn’t about asceticism. Not punitive or punishing. Not moralizing minimalism. No cleanses will occur. No self-improvement allowed. No Marie-Kondo-esque nonsense of clearing out so we can “be better” permitted.
This is just about questioning what we think we want so badly and getting curious about what would happen if we just had a little less of it instead.
Having less saved my life. People ask me how I healed from twenty-five years of serious mental illness and chronic suicidality. It’s unlikely that one thing led to my recovery, but it had a lot to do with simplifying my life, i.e., having less and less of more! more!

Who knows? With less, we might all start looking as calm and at ease as these two:
(If you’re a dog person, insert dog images.)
If you want less and less of more and more, become a paid subscriber:
This isn’t about being better, just saner.

p.s. You can also give a gift subscription to the people in your life who could do with a little less of more and more, too.
What a lovely idea sarah! 🙌🏻💛
Sarah,
This concept is intriguing. I'm looking forward to it very much. The world spins naturally toward complexity.
As an aficionado of puns, I can't decide how to categorize the pun of "Less-in," but 1) I wish i had come up with it and 2) it made me laugh.
